Amidst the turmoil of ongoing conflict in Israel, stories of hope and perseverance continue to emerge, revealing the undeniable presence of God’s hand at work. Today, I am excited to share with you Rachel’s story, a testament to the incredible impact your support is having in the midst of adversity.
Seeing and Believing
Through our friends at Love to the Needy, one of our partners in Israel, your influence is touching families in Ashkelon, a town just eight miles north of the Gaza border. Ashkelon was and remains a target of Hamas missile attacks.
One of those touched by your gifts is Rachel. Rachel has faced many challenges since a failed glaucoma operation, leaving her with only 50% vision in one eye and no vision in the other.
Unable to work due to her visual impairment, Rachel received a delivery of much-needed groceries last week. Full of faith, she declared that “God is big and He is taking care of me through people like you.”
Divine “Accidents”
Rachel said the people at the outreach in Ashkelon found her “by accident,” but she believes they were sent by God.
God is hearing the cries of desperate Israelis and He’s using you to meet their needs.
